The Company has recorded a phenomenal growth rate during the current year while totaling up revenues of over Rs 220 million. Moreover strategically sound marketing sense and techniques, employed by a talent pool of professionals has seen to the increasing presence of the company’s products in the shop shelves around the world.

The company has mainly four product divisions for handling a diverse product range namely OTC, FMCG, Ethical and Classical Divisions. Each division is headed by separate Product Managers who are supported in the field by a strong marketing network spread all over the country.

The Flagship product of the Company is still the Pankajakasthuri breathe EC range bringing in 70% of the sales volume. These products have been the market leaders in their categories since 1990s.

The OTC division handles 9 products, the FMCG division 7 products, Ethical division 10 products and the Classical division more than 440 products.

In order to meet the spiraling demand the company has built a state of the art Manufacturing facility at Poovachal, Trivandrum complying with International GMP standards with a built-up area of more than 100000 sq. feet.

The company has a full-fledged R&D facility where original research work is done on various aspects of Ayurveda for complying with the international norms. The various divisions are headed by doctorate holders with long experience in Pharmacology, Bio Chemistry, phytochemistry etc.. Specific research work is conducted in areas like Asthma, Diabetes, Hypertension, Arthritis, Liver and Cardiac diseases.

Pankajakasthuri Herbal Research Foundation, one of the divisions of the group has developed a sprawling 13-acre herbal garden in Poovachal, Trivandrum. Here , rare herbs are cultivated and utilized in the preparation of Ayurvedic Medicines at the Pankajakasthuri factory.

In addition the company has also floated a Pankajakasthuri Herbal Garden Scheme in association with the Government of Kerala to promote the cultivation of medicinal plants in hospitals across Kerala. This scheme has also been extended to the reserved settlements of the Tribal Communities near forests.

The Company has also initiated a scheme for the cultivation of all the 740 documented species described in the famous Horthus Malabaricus, the renowned 17th century work. A large number of these species are lost or unidentifiable today. The objective is to identify those presumed lost and create a biological environment suitable for the propagation of the species for the benefit of the future generations .

In it’s effort to popularize the great science of Ayurveda and drive it’s benefits to the masses, Pankajakasthuri Herbal Research Foundation has set up an Ayurvedic Medical College at Kattakada, 18 km from Trivandrum,the capital city of kerala.

The Pankajakasthuri Ayurvedic Medical College is headed by very eminent personalities in the field of Ayurveda today. The college offers top class facilities, a well-stocked library of writings on Ayurveda, well-equipped drug standardization laboratory, publication division and a highly experienced faculty.
